Scarborough Athletic FC have finally completed a marathon 11-game set of pre-season friendlies in anticipation of the 2011/12 NCEL Premier campaign.
The opponents were a mixed bag and included teams from various levels of the pyramid, 4 from above, 2 equals and 5 from below.
Playing all but 2 of the games away from home, the Seadogs managed 8 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses. Boro netted 25 times and shipped 12.
It has certainly whetted the appetite for the forthcoming season. It is looking good folks.
