You never know!
It was as far back as the 2nd November since Scarborough Athletic FC last played an away NCEL fixture.
That 2-2 draw at the South Yorkshire stronghold of Parkgate FC seems a mini-lifetime ago.
If the thaw continues then the first Monday of 2011 will see The Seadogs visit the "Brewers" of Tadcaster Albion FC at their Ings Lane HQ (in the shadow of the John Smiths brewery - which makes for good pint in the clubhouse).
Given the proximity of the Taddy ground to the adjacent River Wharf then a thaw could also raise the spectre of a waterlogged pitch but, hey-ho, fingers crossed.
Should the game go ahead then kick-off will be at 1pm.
