Scarborough Athletic FC's recent upsurge in fortune continued last night in no uncertain fashion.
They beat, nay, thrashed Dinnington Town by 7 goals to 1 and in so doing equalled their record away victory (set at Bottesford Town in October 2008).
It could be argued that last nights victory carried the greater weight as it was achieved at step 5 level whereas the Bottesford triumph was realised one rung lower down the football pyramid at step 6.
Those who were there tweeted out news of four Ryan Blott goals, one from Billy Law and no less than two own-goals courtesy of the beleaguered Dinno defence ( although one of o.g's has since been credited to Boro's Jenkinson)
So that is three NCEL Premier wins out of three for Boro. Good stuff and no mistake. A sterner test probably awaits on Saturday when second-placed Parkgate FC visit Queensgate, but when Boro play to their best then I reckon them a match for any in this Division.
