Great news for football in Scarborough!
Details have emerged about the first game of football to be played by Scarborough Athletic FC's U19 team.
First Game For Boro U19's
The game (a friendly) will take place at Bishop Burton College on Friday 4th March and the opponents will be the U19 team of our landlords Bridlington Town FC.
As the article suggests, more friendly fixtures are planned later on in the season.
It is hoped the Seadogs U19's can be entered into a competitive league for the 2012/13 season. Which league & home venue is yet to be announced.
This is an important piece of the jigsaw for Scarborough Athletic FC and congratulations are due to all involved in its instigation. Good luck to the management and players, let us hope it proves to be a fertile source of future Seadog first-teamers.
