Congratulations to Scarborough Athletic FC who today held on for a historic first win in the FA Cup.
A Graham Botham strike in the 80th minute was the difference as The Seadogs got past Northern League side Ryton FC. Good photograph of this taken by James Hunter below.
It wasn't a pretty match, the pitch saw to that, but in the cup the result is everything.

Results elsewhere have made the immediate FA Cup road ahead somewhat clearer.
In the next round (Preliminary) Boro travel north once again to take on Chester-le-Street Town FC.
Should they prevail, then either Norton & Stockton Ancients or Whitehaven A.F.C. await in the First Qualifying Round.
