Very positive news today re a new home for Scarborough Athletic F.C.
The minutes of a Scarborough Borough Council meeting about the proposed new sporting village in the Weaponess area of Scarborough (which will include a football stadium) show that a positive response and general backing was received from the SBC councillors.

Seadog Blog is very encouraged by all this and reiterates his hopes for a football ground to be proud of, one that can be developed to match team progress up the footballing pyramid, and is sustainable - Dartford FC's Princes Park is a fine example of this.
