Scarborough Athletic FC Hit The Wembley Trail On Saturday

It's "FA Cup Fever" this Saturday when Boro hit the Wembley trail by traveling up to Tyne & Wear to take on Ryton FC (of the Northern League Division One) in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup - The Worlds greatest cup competition.

It is the first of 14 possible hurdles on this particular road to the Wembley Way! Another route is available in the FA Vase (but more of that later)

This will only be Scarborough Athletic FC's 2nd ever venture in the FA Cup - the less said the better about the first foray - and all Seadogs will be hoping for a historic first ever FA Cup Tie victory (and the prize money that goes with it).

Full details of the game HERE

If (and I emphasise IF) the Seadogs are successful then all eyes will be on the result at Brandon United V Chester-le-Street Town - the winners of that tie would be our opponents in the next round (Preliminary) on Saturday 28th August.
