Scarborough Athletic's Supporters Direct Weekend



A very interesting weekend is lined up for Scarborough Athletic FC which comes with the chance of some early silverware to polish.





The first-team squad will be traveling to The New Bucks Head, Telford, to contest Merthyr Town FC for the Supporters Direct Shield (k/o 4.30)


Earlier on in the day FC United of Manchester will vie with hosts AFC Telford Utd for the Supporters Direct Cup (k/o 1.30)

Supporters Direct Cup details

The Bucks Head Stadium hosts the Supporters Direct Cup and the Supporters Direct Shield this Saturday.





Telford United will face FC United in the final of the SD Cup (kick off 1.30pm) with Merthyr Town will face Scarborough in the final of the SD Shield kick off 16.30 .

Spectators should note that there will be a substantial change to the way the stadium normally operates on a match day.

Turnstiles will open at 12.45. Telford Supporters have been allocated the David Hutchison North Terrace and the Sir Stephen Roberts West Stand. Telford supporters will not be permitted entry to any other part of the ground.

FC united of Manchester Supporters will be hosted in the Frank Nagington South Terrace. Merthyr Town and Scarborough supporters will be hosted on the Jack Bentley East Terrace (This is an open terrace)

Admission for the day is £8 adults, £5 Concessions and £1 Under 16’s (accompanied by adults). Spectators wishing to leave the ground between games are free to do so but will be required to pay an admission fee to re-enter the stadium. Snack bars and bars in the ground will be open during the day.

The Learning Centre Bar will open from 12noon until 1.30pm, close and then re-open at 3pm.

Raffle tickets will be on sale during the day to select lucky supporters from each team to compete in a penalty shoot out. The results of the shoot out will decide the result of each match should they end in a draw. The shoot out will take place between the games.

Additionally, for all you non-travelers, Scarborough Athletic reserves will be playing Eastfield St James at their Eastway home with a 2.30 kick-off ( hopefully you can watch this game and be home in time to listen to Seadogslive)
